To help OtterBox evolve beyond rugged protection (and following a new business win for Digitas Chicago), we repositioned the brand around a more emotional idea: confidence to say yes to life.
Made for Yes reframed protection as permission, and launched as a full creative ecosystem, starting with a brand refresh and a new Otter Mascot ( his name is Ollie), followed by an anthemic repositioning spot, a suite of :15s and
:06s, and ongoing product-led social campaigns - from video vignettes to content-at-scale workstreams.
Brought to life across media, social, and experiential, the platform helped broaden OtterBox’s audience and shift perception from rugged to modern and sleek, driving meaningful brand lift along the way.

We refreshed OtterBox’s color palette to feel more modern (with a touch of nostalgia and the outdoors), and created a flexible design system built for motion, social, and scale. We also evolved Ollie, turning him from a mascot into a true brand character... more expressive, more dimensional, and woven throughout the brand experience.
With all that, we gave OtterBox a warmer, more human visual language to match its new point of view - and a design system that could live everywhere.
