In 2019, we proactively brought an activation idea to 3M Post-it for Twin Cities Pride. Then 2020 happened.
With Pride canceled, we pivoted. Then, after the murder of George Floyd, we pivoted again, this time with even more purpose. In close partnership with 3M, we created a Post-it mural that became a message of unity, representation, and hope / bringing color and connection back to the city.
Installed along the original Pride route on the walls of First Avenue, right beside Prince’s star, the mural turned a moment of heartbreak into one of collective resilience.
